Gil Mandelzis
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
In April 2000, Mr. Mandelzis formed Traiana with the vision of bringing the benefits of automation and technology to improve client service for major financial institutions and their clients. Prior to Traiana, he worked at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown's M&A group in New York (Formerly BT Wolfensohn). In his role, Mr. Mandelzis advised companies in the financial and technology sectors. Mr. Mandelzis holds a MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Michael Laven
Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Laven has had a long career in financial technology in both Silicon Valley and London. Most recently based in London, he was the CEO of Iris Financial, a provider of fixed income and equity trading software to the world’s largest banks. Prior to Iris he was the COO of KWI, the leading European provider of energy trading systems. Based in Silicon Valley, Mr. Laven was previously the CEO of Infinity Financial Technology, a risk management software company, which after a successful IPO was acquired by Sungard Data Systems. He was then the President of the Sungard Trading and Risk Division, the largest provider of financial trading systems. He has also held executive positions at Ask/Ingres and Dun and Bradstreet Software. Mr. Laven has a B.A. in Anthropology from Wesleyan University, a M.A. in International Affairs from The School for International Training and a M.Ed. from Harvard.
Roy Saadon
Co-Founder, General Manager Harmony
Mr. Saadon co-founded Traiana in April 2000, and was responsible for the initial design and roll out of its TRM product. He also formed Traiana's Professional Services group setting up the New York office. As General Manager for Harmony, Mr. Saadon is responsible for the overall market and technical direction of the Harmony product line. Prior to Traiana, Mr. Saadon was involved in R&D as in in-house entrepreneur at an Israeli VC, and in the IDF.
James Chrystal
Co-Founder, Vice-President, Global Fund Sales
Mr. Chrystal brings 13 years of marketing and sales experience in the financial marketplace to Traiana. He was formerly Director of E-Trading Sales and Distribution for the CBOT-EUREX Joint Venture, Inc., an alliance between two of the world's largest derivatives exchanges. Mr. Chrystal’s team was instrumental in expanding CBOT’s electronic trading terminals to over 80 firms and 110 sites worldwide. Previously, Mr. Chrystal managed the Financial Markets Group at the Chicago Board of Trade, where his team was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies globally for products that comprised over 80% of the CBOT’s volume.
Rafi Vasserman
General Manager Israel, Vice President Research & Development
As Vice-President of Research and Development, Mr. Vasserman is responsible for delivering high-quality, robust solutions to Traiana customers. He brings over 15 years of QA, development and management experience to Traiana. In his most recent role as Vice President R&D of ClearForest, a software company providing text-driven business intelligence solutions, he was responsible for the overall growth of the R&D organization as well as their products - from inception to launch. Prior to ClearForest, Mr Vasserman lead an R&D organization of over 80 people for Tecnomatix, a leader in manufacturing process management solutions for the automotive, electronics, aerospace and manufacturing and processing industries. Mr. Vasserman has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and a Master of Science in Management, Polytechnic New York.
Eliran Glazer
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Traiana, Mr.Glazer served as the Director of Finance of Schema Ltd., a global provider of optimization and planning solutions for wireless carriers. Prior to Schema, Mr. Glazer filled the role of Controller of BackWeb Technologies, a leading provider of ProactivePortal™ technologies and push infrastructure for the enterprise environment. In this role Mr. Glazer was responsible for all accounting and tax aspects of the Israeli site. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Glazer was at KPMG and was responsible for customers in the high-tech, communication and services industries. Mr. Glazer holds a BA in Business Management, major in Accounting, from the Management College, and an LLM from the Bar Ilan University. He is a CPA and a member of the Israeli Certified Public Accountants Chamber.
Sandy Dondici
Vice-President, Professional Services
Mr Dondici brings over 20 years experience in the computer services consulting and client services in Traiana. Prior to joining Traiana, Mr. Dondici served as Director, Global Competencies Group for Siebel Systems, INC. In this position, he was responsible for Performance Tuning and Client Quality Assurance services at Seibel. Sandy also held the Global Director of Operations position at Siebel where he was reponsible for the hosting and managed services organization supporting Siebel client implementations. Prior to Siebel Systems, Sandy held positions as Vice President of Development for eonDigital, a hosted content management company, Consulting Manager at Accenture and Vice President, International Systems for CoreStates Bank.
Sandy graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Aviva Gatt
Vice-President, Human Resources
Ms. Gatt joined Traiana in July 2006 as Vice President, Human Resources. She previously held the position of Vice President, Human Resources in Metalink Broadband Access where from 2000 she had responsibility for Human Resources in Metalink corporate and global subsidiaries (US, China, Korea and Japan). Prior to that she worked as Director of Human Resources for Texas Instruments Cable Broadband Communications from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, Ms. Gatt was Director of Human Resources at Nice Systems (1994-1998), and recruitment manager at Tadiran Telecommunications (1991-1993). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from New York's Polytechnic University.
Jill Sigelbaum
Vice-President Global Bank Sales
Ms. Sigelbaum is responsible for the global sales of Traiana’s products and services to banks, including trading, sales, prime brokers, and custodians. She joined Traiana in 2003 with extensive experience in the sales and marketing of technology products to financial institutions. In previous positions at Intuitive Products the developers of the Scrittura, Financial Software Systems and Astrogamma she worked with world’s leading financial institutions on adoption of technology solutions for the front, middle and back office. Ms. Sigelbaum has a business administration degree from Ohio University.
Illit Geller-Gurfinkel
Vice President Business Development
Illit Geller- Gurfinkel joined Traiana in December 2000 with expertise in financial market technologies and financial risk management. Mrs. Geller - Gurfinkel is responsible for Traiana’s strategic business development, partnerships and 3rd party relationships. Prior to joining Traiana she was with the Global Financial Risk Management Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers where she advised financial institutions on risk management challenges, and on the design and implementation of e-business strategies and technology deployment.
Mrs. Geller - Gurfinkel holds a business degree from Boston University.
