Senior Presales Specialist (New York)
Reports to VP Sales
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for presale support of company's products and services
- Understands customer needs (present and future), implementation and market direction. Provides inputs and feedback to product management
- Provides sales and product training to partners and customers
- Provides technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations according to needs defined by Sales
- Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning software, applications and services pre- and post-sales. Provides consultation to prospective users
- Prepare sales tools as needed
- Maintain own relationships in market and gather market feedback
- Manage local implementation projects
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as a presales engineer or a consultant with similar responsibilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills - listens effectively, grasps complex issues, able to verbalize concisely and articulately, able to stimulate others, good public speaker
- Versatile and people related skills - adaptable to international environment, able to work effectively with others and influence
- Technical background and understanding
- Knowledge of FX - essential
- Knowledge of credit derivatives, rates and futures - an advantage
- Knowledge of Traiana products - an advantage
- Willingness to travel (mainly within NA)
