New York/London, 10 December 2014 – Traiana, the leading provider of pre-trade risk and post-trade processing solutions, announces today that it has won the award for “Best new product – Connectivity” at the 2014 FOW awards ceremony held in London last night.
Traiana’s regulatory post-trade solutions were designed to support existing derivative trading operations in regions where regulatory compliance is yet to be mandated, whilst providing compliance where reporting and clearing is being adopted. A combination of three Traiana Harmony services, CCP Connect, TR Connect, and CreditLink provide the derivative market with a total solution for all clearing, reporting and risk management requirements respectively, irrespective of trading and clearing paradigm.
The award recognises the enhancements Traiana has made with respect to the introduction of additional points of connectivity among execution platforms, clearing members, trade repositories, trading parties and clearing houses. The suite of Traiana regulatory solutions provides market participants with a flexible, scalable and extensible post-trade infrastructure supporting existing and future derivative trading requirements with full support across trading paradigm and regulatory jurisdiction.
Andy Coyne, Chief Executive, Traiana, commented: “We are delighted to win the best new product award for connectivity as voted for by the FOW panel of judges. The Traiana Harmony network has grown significantly and now connects over 1000 buy and sellside participants across asset classes, ensuring complete visibility through the trade lifecycle.”
Will Mitting, Publisher, FOW, commented: “With attention turning to post-trade efficiency and automation like never before, the Connectivity award goes to a post-trade provider for the first time this year. In the last 12 months, Traiana has enhanced Harmony connectivity to support 15 clearing members, three CCPs, four trade repositories and 12 Sefs. Traiana has worked closely with industry working groups and embraced messaging protocols, formats and requirements prescribed by the FIA, ISDA, CFTC, ESMA and other global regulators.”
The FOW awards were presented at a reception in London on the 9th December, following the FOW Derivatives World London Debates. The FOW International Awards are designed to recognise the pioneers of the global derivatives market across a range of categories and disciplines. A nominated panel of judges voted for the winner of each award.
